Release Day +6
Black Velvet released this past Monday the 2nd. Thanks to everyone who has bought it. Because of you it is currently at #7 on the Fantasy Best Sellers and #8 on the Paranormal Best Sellers lists at Once Upon A Bookstore It also has the distinction of being my first pirated book. Folks, I don't get the big advances and only make a few cents on the dollar for each book. So please, buy it don't steal it.
I'm doing NaNo. This years story is a murder mystery and a paranormal romance. It's coming along great and I'm hoping I don't lose interest in it because it's really a good story.
I've also applied for a Copy Editor position and I'm hoping that I get it. Waiting on that and word on my last submission.
Also working on a project that is driving me crazy organizing - but that's half the fun! That's the news for the week. Talk to you next week.

Somethings about being an author never get old

Release Date!

I'm thrilled to announce that Black Velvet - co written with my good friend Antonia Tiranth - will release on November 16, 2009!
This book was so much fun to write! I adore the hero, Jett Houston.

His girl, Amara was interesting too! She comes along way in this book. From Daddy's little girl to her own woman.
Add in an arainged marriage, a couple conflicting prophecies, and a coming clan war.... Definitely fun.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as Tir and I writing it!

Those handsome men of romance novels
You want to know a secret?
The best part of being a romance author is all the romance heroes! Really! You get to design your perfect man and when you finish that novel - you get to do it again! So I thought I'd introduce you to some of my leading men!
Let's start with Captain Matthew Barrington - the hero of my April 23rd release Sarah's Story. I don't have a picture of him - because he's based on my personal hero of 21 years - my husband. He's funny, sweet, mischievious and dependable.
The next hero is Jett Houston. He's the hero of the book I cowrote with my good friend Antonia Tiranth and the third book in her series. Jett is the foulest mouthed and stubbornest hero I've ever tried to write! But he is so completely loveable, you can't help but fall in love with him. AND he's a major hottie. He showed up while I was listening to Black Velvet and the song fits him so well. In fact, it became the title of the book! We're just waiting for the editor to get back to us on if it's accepted or not.So, I'm off to meet my next hero to fall in love with! All I know right now is his name is Ryan and he might be a wolf shifter! But meeting the guys is half the fun!
